THIS COURSE IS CANCELLED

The Leiden University Medical Center finds it extremely important to protect its patients and employees against the risk of spreading the corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). Our patients are often very vulnerable and our staff can’t be missed: continuity of care is essential for us. The decision has been made to cancel the course ‘1st LUMC-Symposium on Qualitative Research’ due to the coronavirus and we realize that cancelling this course has a great impact.

We have informed the participants and speaker personally about this cancellation.

We are pleased to announce the first symposium on qualitative research in the LUMC. With this symposium we aim to integrate and articulate qualitative research within multidisciplinary health research. The program will focus on sharing knowledge and connecting researchers. Therefore, the program includes a keynote lecture, workshops, presentations of qualitative research conducted in the LUMC, as well as possibilities to meet fellow researchers during the poster session during the break. The keynote will focus on the quality of reporting qualitative research in biomedical journals, workshops will address several practical aspects of conducting such research. The symposium is coordinated by the Platform Qualitative Research of the LUMC. This platform regularly meets and organizes activities to share knowledge, connect researchers, and improve the quality of qualitative research conducted in the LUMC. There will be an award for the best oral presentation and poster.

There is no registration fee for LUMC employees (€ 0,-). However you need to register for the event if you want to attend it.

Intended audience
Researchers within the LUMC and Campus The Hague with an interest in qualitative research, both experienced and inexperienced.
